Rooted in the promise of Matthew 6:33, “Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness,” youth learn the importance and benefits of having a relationship with God. They discover the love of Christ and the presence of the Holy Spirit as their constant Helper in every aspect of life. Through prayer, scripture, and surrender, they begin to trust that when Christ is first, everything else finds its rightful place.

Echoing Colossians 3:23, “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord”—they discover that every task, gift, and career path can be sacred when pursued with excellence and purpose. Through partnerships with local schools and businesses, youth are invited to explore careers firsthand, gaining practical experience and spiritual insight as they learn to see work not just as a job, but as a calling.

Like the wise builder in Luke 14:28 who counts the cost before laying the foundation, youth learn to budget, steward resources, and make financial decisions with wisdom and spiritual confidence. They explore the value of saving, giving, and planning with purpose. They learn that resources are entrusted by God and are meant to be managed with care and integrity. As they grow in financial literacy, they gain confidence, reduce stress, and prepare for future responsibilities with wisdom and generosity.

Guided by Romans 12:18, “If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone,” they grow in emotional intelligence and relational maturity. They practice forgiveness, reconciliation, and bridge-building across divides, learning how to do better and be better in their interactions with others. Whether in classrooms, workplaces, or ministry settings, they develop the tools to foster peace, navigate conflict, and build meaningful connections.

Following David’s example in Psalm 42:11, they learn to name their sorrow, confront fear, and speak hope to their own souls with honesty and support. They explore their identity in Christ, gaining tools to navigate emotions and respond wisely to emotionally challenging situations—with courage, clarity, and community.

Echoing 1 Corinthians 9:27, “I discipline my body and keep it under control”, youth learn to care for their bodies as temples of the Holy Spirit. They learn the value of sexual integrity, the importance of healthy boundaries, and the wisdom of avoiding drugs and alcohol—learning that self-control and physical stewardship are not just about preventing harm, but about honoring God with every choice they make. Additionally, through fun team-building games and group exercises, they build strength, coordination, and confidence as well as trust, camaraderie, and a sense of belonging.”
